Provenance Journey
Provenance means the place of origin or earliest known history of something. Each of our garment comes with a QR code that shares the history, & journey of the garment. Each fabric has its own story from farm, to fiber, to yarn, to fabric, to finishing/dyeing, and eventually - garment making.
Fabric Source
In the fashion industry, deadstock fabric refers to leftover or surplus textiles that were produced, but not used in garment production. Deadstocks are created not because there is a fabric defect in any way, but simply because mass-brands either change their mind about their design strategy after order placement, or simply don't find the fabric trend-relevant anymore. These fully viable, beautiful fabrics would eventually be discarded by the Mills, making their way into landfill.
Hand Printing
The journey begins in Bagru, a small village near Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, where generational artisans use traditional wooden blocks to hand-print each shirt. This centuries-old technique brings vibrant patterns and a touch of heritage to every piece, making each shirt a wearable work of art.
Tailoring of garment
In Faridabad, India, expert cut-and-sew garment makers shape the fabric into a modern, versatile shirt. Each piece is thoughtfully finished, inspected, and prepared for its journey—ready to become part of your story.
